Week #7: Lyceum for me
No offense but…Lyceum.. for me it is just a school with a high cost of tuition fee per semester in our course.
-
Week #6: Whatta Trip

Since the head of the company which we were supposed to interview didn’t reply (though it was also our fault), we’ve just decided to go to Makati although we don’t have any appointment in any companies. Good thing I could remember what my sister told me about the way there, though we even asked directions to different people. Until we came to SM Makati. There, the taxi driver was so kind and easy to talk with. Suddenly.. tralala~!..it was already raining.
Since it was around 1 or 2 pm, we’ve decided to eat in Jollibee, to save money also, before looking for someone to interview. We were really lucky not being lost and found the Forth Legend Tower easily. Though we didn’t notice that the elevator we were in wasn’t for 10th floor, but on the other side. XDD hehe. The elevator thingy was time consuming though. But when we were on the right elevator..whattata~! a double sided elevator hahahaha XD
“Baka may Sadako dito” Jasmin said.
Then, we found the “Holy Cow,” an animation company. They didn’t allow us to conduct an interview, because they’ll be having a presentation. Alright, transferred to the other side, the “Galilee.” The woman was so kind, she told us that on the moment their boss leave, we may interview their web developer, because their boss won’t allow it we need to wait. But the foreigner also talked to us and he explained to us that they don’t have time for an interview.
We went back to the lobby, and saw the bald man (the boss), so we went back to the mentioned floor. She told us that we’re right, he’s their boos, but we need to wait inside the comfort room, but someone will inform us once he’s gone. We played, talked and took photos inside the cozy comfort room. around 3:30/4:00 pm.. we were able to interview him, and since their business isn’t a multimedia base, I told them that we need to have another one. Holy Cow. So lucky that they allowed us to interview Mr. Roy Diaz, one of their animators.
The lady told us that he was also a Multimedia Arts student. We thanked them so much, but waiting for the bus was too boring. In SM Makati, we saw some artists because of an event, and Jas was able to capture a photo of one them. Jorvy rode on a taxi, while Jas and I prefer the bus to go back to Calamba.

Week #5: C.A.S.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQ2sOdZfTgI&feature=share
College of Arts Sciences..for me? Hehe. I can’t tell whether this is the best department among all of the departments within the campus of Lyceum of the Philippines University-Laguna, I’ll be judgmental if I would. I admit that I’m not close with any of the students from the so-called department, except for some of my classmates, and there are times that I’m together with the IE students who used to be classmates way back. Therefore, instead of generalizing it, I’d better use the advantage of the word “most.”
I may not be good in socialization, and yet I conclude that most of the students from the certain department are that friendly enough to cope with different people, especially those who are from A.B. Comm. I can still remember when someone said that the noisy students are from CAS. Oh well, I guess that’s true after all. Who cares anyway, as long as discipline is still there.
The fact that there’s always fun, can never be changed. Even the bond during the shooting for CAS week, while I was sticking together with Jorvy and Ralph. That was still fun. Similar as what Ian stocked unto my mind, “CAS is fun.”
Also, I’m glad being one of the students who belong in this department. Because here I met someone unforgettable for lifetime, and the friends whom I may come up with anytime there’s a chance, without getting bored or annoyed. I may.. C.ome together, A.sk, and S.hare what I know with them.

Week #4: Time is Gold, Ah, Platinum. Even in Marketing.
‘Twas HOT, as in H-O-T, due to the heat of the sun. Whatta sunny day it had been, and when I came.. what the-? Oh crap. (=.=) We need to wait for the speaker to arrive and I consider it as being irresponsible. So to kill the boredom, they played a video for we can be somehow entertained. But still, for me, I didn’t come just to watch that whatsoever film.
Yeah, I was annoyed and bored at the same time. The seminar wasn’t that fun at all, and the presence of boredom among the audience can be easily feel due to the lack of energy in speaking and kinda unprepared. Oh, geez..I’m sorry for typing these statements. But I’m just stating the truth and nothing but the truth. Ok, this sounds me guilty after all.
Good thing he showed us a software to make strategies in texting and why sending messages is an unimaginable way of losing thy privacy. Yes, right, it caught my attention after all of the sudden. Unlike when he told us this fb thing, which is already very common since millions of person nowadays use this social networking site, even in marketing. Spams.. to understand this, is only through common sense. But to be specific, they use these strategies to save their time also, rather than to expose their products or services to each person one by one. It’s like a “one at the same time marketing.”
I may be rude or something against the seminar, but I better type these rather than to say that “I enjoyed the seminar a lot, it was awesome!” but deep inside of me is the opposite. How pathetic.
-
Week #3: Go, Listen and Learn
I was like..
“You gotta go to school because of seminar”
“Ahh..haha. (-.-)”
Right. I only forced my self to go, because I really want to do other things nowadays which I’ve been ‘craving’ (I guess for a month already). Ok, here it goes..
The said seminar was..
“‘Twas nice.” XDD
No, the seminar was great to be specific. The way on how the speaker explained and communicated with us became a barrier against boredom. The topics ‘bout corporate image, corporate identity, stealth marketing, buzz marketing and viral marketing. (Oh my.. I didn’t expect that I’ll be able to state these though I didn’t even decided to write a single letter during the seminar. Well maybe because she entertained me a lot. hahahaha)
The differences of those mentioned terms above there, will be a guide on how to conduct a certain business. I enjoyed listening to her tips and stories because it gave me ideas on how I’ll be able to manage a business “if ever”. Also, she showed short clips of her downloaded videos to serve as examples for better understanding.
All I could say is..
“In business, it’s like pakapalan ng mukha.”

Week #2: Long Weekend? Are You Kidding Me?
[o.O]
[O.o]
[o.o]
[0.0]
[O.O]
Long weekend? Oh really? After all of those consecutive school activities that I almost set aside my personal life and honestly NOT enjoying..should I still consider it as a long weekend? hahaha FISH XDDD! Full of cramming which I hate the most? Oh nah-ah-ah. Ooh achacha~!
I love rain, but rain doesn’t love me back HAHAHA (don’t mind this part, I won’t tell why anyway) :3. But still I wasn’t able to attend that seminar because I don’t know what time will it start, yet, I dun wanna look stupid waiting for nothin’ (as what many people do and did unto me), and also I’ve read it when ‘twas almost 11 a.m. Oh well.. let it be. Let it be~!
“I’m tired.”
“It’s frustrating.”
“I wanna end my life.”
“And I’m just kidding.”
(why would I end my life? I still have lots of ‘I don’t know what’ ideas running on mah mind. HAHA!)
XDDD b (thumbs up hahaha idk)
“I wanna draw.”
“I wanna paint.”
“I wanna learn different piano sheets and compose again, then don’t write it.”
“I wanna sew.”
“I wanna recycle.”
“I wanna play those software applications.”
“I wanna read and learn this and that.”
“I wanna study again these writings (that I used to know well before I entered college life.)”
“I wanna write on my death note.”
“I wanna decorate my room.”
And lots of “I wanna” chever.
But those are all true. That was my daily routine way back then. I miss my old life. (TwT)p. Shisha~! I didn’t realize that I only made this blog post long. Sorry for that. XD
Not to be rude or somethin’ runnin’ on your mind, I’ve realized that I wanna work, a permanent one. Because through it, I’ll definitely learn with the help of someone, instead of just by Googling (is this even a word? haha. Anyway.) it, and I’d earn to support my needs and wants. Come on, I don’t just simply ask my parents to give me ‘monehh’. I don’t like taking advantage because they have plenty of those, when in fact I know that I already have inheritances. Also, my deal with them is to satisfy them with the “passed” grades, not for oh so high grades (because I already have my sisters who extended their expectations ever since).
Long weekend? Not for long.

Week #1: Reaction About The New Groupings
Groupings..I don’t really care whoever my groupmates will be, and that’s the main reason why I raised my hand when Miss A asked who wants to let her decide among the groupings. Choosing? Ah haha. I’m too lazy to do that, I better be assigned. XD Honestly, not to be rude/selfish/mean/whatsoever term it should be, I prefer to do projects individually. Anyway, read it first why I want that matter before blaming those judgmental thoughts you have on thy mind.
It’s NOT due to who I’ll be working with, instead, it’s only due to that I always compute through my mind the estimated time difference in almost every thing I do since two thousand and eight nyehe~! xDD b (Transportation included. That’s also the reason why I don’t use alarms, and automatically wakes up whenever I think about what time should I be awake, but sometimes fails if very tired). Which I couldn’t manage very well when I do things with other people. Even with my friends, of course. So don’t get me wrong here, since I’ve been given the privilege to post ‘bout the things, I mean thoughts, running on my mind. By the way, we’re different among one another.
Another one regarding on that individual issue up there is the total achievement of forcing ourselves to learn the lessons that we really need to learn rather than wasting our time in social networking sites (I do even wanna delete my facebook account if it’s not only because of academic purposes). Doing an action is different from just saying it. For example, instead of saying “I’d like to learn this and this,” go and google it XD. Don’t reason out that you don’t have the software needed, you may buy installers out there or download, though pirated, (anyway, there are also trial versions) but keep in mind that you’re gonna use it for educational purposes only. Since high school I’ve experienced doing group projects alone, and I may say that afterwards..it gave me benefits. Because ‘twas me who learned, while they demanded their stupidities. jk xDD
I’m still a beginner (like most of the MMA students), uhm..newbie/noob to serve as applicable terms, and only considers those software applications as my computer games instead of playing those watcha call Angry Birds or even watching tv (no offense on this part). It’s just that.. I fooled Google until we became close friends AHAHA xDD b. No, the truth is.. I spent my time watching online tutorials and searching through Google, esp. last summer vacation, because I’m shy on wasting other people’s time just to teach me (and I dun wanna waste their time on me), when I know within myself that they also spent too much time to learn a certain knowing. Therefore, I studied/played by my own.
Alright, gonna end this ‘I don’t know what to call’ blog post. Overall, it’s fine with me. End of explanation. Don’t wanna complain. I rather sit lazily and edit for me to do and finish other tasks.

Information System in Business

Organizations, business organizations to be specific, depend on information technology for the sake of their survival which is based on my research. It serves as a foundation of conducting businesses, but it has various types such as transaction processing systems, office systems, decision support systems, knowledge management systems, database management systems, and office information systems. Information system is defined as implemented within an organization for the purpose of effectiveness and efficiency of that organization. Actually, is it already part of the emergence of global economy. Where in fact the use of information systems is much easier and saves our time.
But there are six reasons why it is important in business industries nowadays, and these are: operational excellence; new products, models and business models; customer and supplier intimacy; improved decision making; competitive advantage; survival.
Telecommunication and internet are very useful in all businesses and already became as norm and a must. For intranets, extranets, and even collaboration systems. Information systems can also provide accounting and financial information, other information obtained in the routine processing of accounting transactions, aggregated information on accounts payable, and all of these will definitely affect in producing external reports, in supporting decision routine activities, in decision support, planning and control, and in implementing internal control.
But without marketing strategies, no matter how good a business should be, it’ll never be successful.

Sona

Though I’m uninterested with politics, and even in our government, I’m still here, forcing myself, and typing this blog post because it is task to do. Our president, Noynoy Aquino, stated first the issue about the so-called “wang wang.” The improvement on our environment and replies of the people regarding on the lesser noise. He also discussed the improvement on stock market and so as the credit ratings upgrade. Of course the advantages as well.
Even the new power plant which will give an effect on the year 2014. Yet, he also mentioned about keeping his promises. Well, I dunno if it’s really happening or not. Giving importance to the zero-based budgeting, taxes, observation for the people who should be block listed, and rice. The president even told additional issues, yet SONA can be divided into two parts.
For the first part of his speech, he explained ‘bout the complications on doing his promises. These are the sins, incompetence, and alleged anomalies of the past administration. Those which are mentioned can be the factors why.
While for the second part, are for the solutions and strategies for him to solve the problems and in order the nation to be organized. Alright, therefore his purpose is to convince the people. To convince the people to participate in this task for everyone’s sake in Philippines.

Business, Business.. What The Heck?

Talking about business, what do you think is its purpose? This explanation might be helpful, though a single sentence will be the words to be remembered. “To earn money.” Simple as that. Correct me if I’m wrong.
It doesn’t mean that having great products and services good business will go on. Business won’t stay if the public does not view your business in a positive light, and also, there are times that just by one negative publicity, the business may go under. Even inaccurate. Learn to build brand loyalty, and one reason is due to the customers select products or services before the choosing the competition that lies beyond the value of the products, so as the difficulty on how it could get. Inasmuch, there should be a target age for demand.
Perception is another way in business to be successful. Based on my research. Of course. By this process, individuals organize and interpret their sensory impressions in order to give meaning to their environment. It’s like observing everything around which is can be very powerful.
But in establishing a business, your point of interest should always remain or else, as time passes by, the business might turn out to be something uninteresting, even though the eyes of the management itself. Update, and it means that there’s something new, like for every month, for customers won’t get bored either. What else? Ah, Originality and affordability. It’ll attract customers. Be wise and creative.
